Job Summary

The Harvest technician performs manual labor to assist in the upkeep, cleaning, and harvesting of medicinal cannabis under the supervision of the Harvest Manager. Attention to detail is extremely important. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.


Essential Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Harvesting, bucking, lopping, hanging, and moving plants, as well as cleaning and filling each space to maintain a perpetual grow.
  • General duties around the garden as they relate to the upkeep of the garden.
  • Knowledge of harvest practices, including Defoliation, plant structure, and proper harvest techniques.
  • Identify pests and pathogens as it relates to harvesting cannabis.
  • Harvesting
  • Follow protocols and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to execute techniques consistently.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Knowledge of marijuana strains and anatomy.
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate-level math skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Work is performed in a production environment and requires the ability sit and stand for long periods and to operate standard trimming tools or equipment. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and bending and kneeling to obtain supplies or tools. Employees should be able to lift 10 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
