Asphalt Roller Operator - Idaho Falls

Suncore is searching for an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team in delivering top-quality paving projects. In this role, you’ll operate rollers safely, work closely with team members to meet compaction standards, and maintain equipment for peak performance. If you’re safety-focused, skilled with asphalt mixes, and dedicated to quality, Sunroc offers a supportive environment where your expertise is valued.

Things You’ll Do

• Operate the asphalt roller safely and efficiently.
• Work with screedman and paving foreman to complete a quality job and meet compaction requirements.
• Help team members with cleaning out the paver.
• Direct and teach laborers.
• Keep the roller greased, oiled, and perform minor repairs if needed using oilcans, grease gun or hand tools.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience rolling different types of asphalt mixes.
• Understand paving procedures.
• Attention and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
