Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Efficiently dispatch custom machines and delivery of all products on a timely basis, with no prejudice or bias, to best serve all Sunrise Cooperative Customers
· Facilitate the movement of all products in and out of the chemical, seed, and fertilizer facilities efficiently and in a timely manner to provide excellent customer service.
· Communicate effectively with sales staff and customers to keep them informed of operational changes and needs
· Work with Location Manager to ensure product inventories are sufficient to fulfil customer pre-pay’s
· Work with Plant Superintendent to oversee equipment maintenance to ensure it is in excellent operating condition and verify maintenance records are completed correctly and timely
· Work with Sunrise Precision Solutions team member to accurately and efficiently obtain soil samples
· Work with location Office Manager to ensure an accurate accounting of the agronomy department including billing, purchase orders, receiving reports, and monthly inventories.
Requirements
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with Sunrise Safety team members to track employee compliance of Commercial Applicators License, CDL, Haz-Mat Endorsement and Medical Card
· Project a positive image of the company to promote its aims and objectives.
· Work with Location Manager to Supervise, hire, and terminate seasonal employees
· Apply for temporary CDL waivers for seasonal employees
· Other job related duties will be assigned to or removed from the position as operational needs dictate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
· Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
· Ability to work long varied hours/days as business dictates.
· Must obtain or currently hold a Class A CDL with medical card.
