Position acts as Donation/Production worker for Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg Inc., a private, non-profit corporation that acts as a vocational training and community inclusion site for people with disabilities. A production worker’s main responsibility is to produce as fast as possible in a safe manner while maintaining a quality product or service. Employees will accept and process donations from the public and maintain the security of the facility.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with unloading donations.
- Maintain security of facility with periodic walkthroughs as determined by supervisor.
- Sort and process donations to be sent to Processing or placed into store inventory.
- Keep facility clean and orderly.
- Be aware of Sunrise donation policies and provide information to customers in a helpful manner.
- Make sure all tools and/or machinery are operated in a safe manner.
- Know and follow existing quality control of product or service being produced, including quality of packaging, accurate counting and marking.
- Keep your work area in a clean safe condition.
- Immediately notify supervisor of any safety hazard.
- Exhibit good judgment in situations not specifically covered by agency policy and/or procedures.
- Perform duties and complete tasks as requested by immediate supervisor in a reasonable amount of time.
- Maintain agency records in a professional manner consistent with prescribed guidelines and expectations.
- Do not exceed responsibility/authority that has been delegated by the supervisor.
- Attend and participate in required meetings.
- Assure quality of services and products provided to customers.
- All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prefer at least two years’ work experience in a production setting. (Or acceptable combination of education and experience).
- Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.
- A valid Oregon driver’s license and insurability by Sunrise insurance carrier are required.
- Ability to pass criminal history check and drug test.
- Must be able to follow directions and work both independently and in groups.
