The Recovery Support Specialist will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are in recovery from substance abuse or addiction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and will be able to provide emotional support, education, and resources to help individuals maintain their sobriety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support to individuals in recovery
- Assist individuals in developing and implementing a recovery plan
- Provide education on addiction and recovery
- Connect individuals with community resources and support groups
- Assist with job training and employment opportunities
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals in recovery
