Alternate weekends are expected. The residential care home is a small single floor environment with a few elderly adults. The shift is meant to assist residents with care needs, their safety, and light housekeeping such as laundry. Paid orientation and training. Experience
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant (CNA, HHA, or PCA) or in a similar role is expected.
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments or residential care care settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is beneficial..
- Provide direct patient care in a residential care home setting, following established care plans and protocols.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and care provided.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when working with individuals with varying needs and conditions.
