â¢Must have excellent phone etiquette, answering in-coming calls, schedule appointments and directs callers to appropriate clinic departments.
â¢Maintain good attendance, is punctual, and works full scheduled shifts
â¢Ensure patient needs and requests are handled efficiently with good customer service, being respectful and addressing patient questions, concerns, and issues.
â¢Collecting information such as patient demographics, medical history, billing, and insurance information.
â¢Register new patients and electronically verify insurance eligibility for patients with Banner and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) insurance
â¢Maintain general knowledge and processes of all departments in the organization
â¢Follow all HIPAA requirements and confidentiality when dealing with patient questions and concerns.
â¢Schedule initial and follow up appointments, verifying appointments, and perform appointment confirmations
â¢Entering information into databases and maintaining accurate records
â¢Report any patient concerns and/or complaints to supervisor.
â¢Maintain schedule accuracy for maximum patient flow
â¢Follow established procedures for answering and screening incoming calls
â¢Maintain effective communication with clinic staff
â¢Demonstrate respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment
â¢Actively participates in staff meetings and work towards accomplishing department goals and objectives.
â¢Perform other duties as assigned
