What are the responsibilities and job description for the Watchman position at Sunset Moulding?
Sunset Moulding is looking for a responsible individual to fill the part time Watchman position. As a Watchman your primary duty is to patrol the property. This position is for the following shift:
Tuesday – 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday – 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Sunday – 11:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
For a total of 21 hours a week.
Selected applicant(s) must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and range of motion exam prior to job offer. This position is subject to a criminal background check.
Responsibilities include:
- Using a scanning wand to scan buttons throughout the plant every hour.
- Being the fire and security watch of the plant.
- Closing gates at night.
- Turning lights and machines off as directed.
- Calling 911 for emergencies and notifying management of any incidents.
- Maintaining a log of anyone entering the premises during non-operating hours as well as logging tasks, and activities throughout the shift.
- Sweeping floors and emptying garbage cans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Starting wage is $16.00/hr with raise increments up to $18.90/hr upon the completion of a three month probationary period.
Schedule:
- 6.5-8 hour shift
- Evening Shift and Night Shift

- Chico, CA 95928: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
