What are the responsibilities and job description for the Street Sweeper Operator position at Sunshine Powersweeping LLC?
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated team player( ability to get along with a possible co worker in your designated truck) detail-oriented Sweeper truck operator and a possible Helper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of various Parking Lots and Only staying on each property for their alloted times(something easily trained)
We do lots such as Lowes,Targets,Walmarts,Home Depots and more. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate very few tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Also Must Have a smartphone with ability to operate Apps for checking in and out of properties (of course we will train /Super simple and were only a phone call away)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine sweeping and cleaning of outdoor areas to ensure they are free from debris and litter.
- Ability to use GPS to travel from One location to the other until memorized, of course.
- Maintain equipment and make sure truck is in good working condition including checking tires after each shift incase they need to be replaced & checking oil every other night or as needed and just reporting any issues as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols while performing duties to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Backpack blowers and or willing to learn
- * Clean Florida drivers Lisence(Meaning no Tickets in last 3 years and NO DUIS EVER)
* Drug Free
* Ability to work overnights (Night work is not for everyone and your safety is our number one concern!
- So we ask for someone who is used to a grave yard shift and can drive /stay awake no issues.8pm start time. Typically 6-9 hrs max
- When your route is done return truck to the shop in port Charlotte off kings highway and clock out.
- Must be 25 or older & Reliable (insurance purposes)
- Ability to work outdoors and atleast drive in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
