This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, this title may be filled via a non-competitive appointment, which means no examination is required.
This position serves as the receptionist for Human Resource Services and Payroll Services. Primary responsibilities include answering and transferring of phone calls, greeting walk-in traffic, and answering general questions as they arise. Assisting candidates, employees, and students with paperwork will also be included; along with the organization, retention, and processing of paper and electronic files.
