What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP (Anatomic Pathology) Test Send out Specialist position at SUNY Upstate Medical University?
Job Summary:
Responsible for delegating and coordinating all activities required for Anatomic Pathology testing send outs and in-house molecular testing, provide support for and acts as liaison with attendings, patients, finance, and other reference laboratories, monitors molecular send-out testing and makes required adjustments in workflow to assure that reports are completed in a timely fashion.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical or Molecular laboratory administrative experience preferred.
Work Days:
M-F 8:00-4:30
