Job Summary:
The Creative Arts Therapist position will provide recreation programs to patients on the Nursing - Psychiatry Units. Working within a multi-disciplinary treatment team, responsibilities include: maintaining structured, daily programs and group therapies; monitoring and reporting patient participation and progress; organizing monthly activity plans; and participating in treatment planning meetings. Provide education and training to Mental Health Workers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree and Licensed Creative Arts Therapy licensure required within 2 years of appointment. Limited permit may be considered for appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of relevant experience and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist preferred at time of hire.
Work Days:
Monday- Friday, Days/2 weekend shifts per month; no holidays
