Job Summary:
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation-Rehab Therapies is looking for an Occupational Therapist to administer prescribed Occupational Therapy as referred by a physician; determine specific goals for patient treatment through evaluation and consultation with health care professionals, patients & families; process record keeping & related reports; attend designated clinics, rounds and conferences rendering patient information; interact with patient families; maintain equipment and supplies; may supervise and/or participate in educational programs for staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensure or eligible, B.S. in Occupational Therapy and 2 years of experience required. *Candidates who possess a B.S. in Occupational Therapy, NYS licensure or eligible and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL2) position at a commensurate salary. If not currently licensed, must receive license in 1 year. CPR/BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience
Work Days:
Monday - Friday with weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
