What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist position at SUNY Upstate Medical University?
Job Summary:
This clinical psychology position is dedicated to a diverse and often at risk out-patient population. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists and trainees. The Psychologist will conduct psychological and developmental testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment. *If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required. Experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children and adolescents, training and experience administering psychological and developmental testing.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday, days
