What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Supply Associate position at SUNY Upstate Medical University?
Associates Degree and 1 year Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience in a healthcare related setting, (preferably acute care) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred. If not certified as a sterile processing technician, will be required to obtain within 18 months of hire date. Previous supervisory and administrative experience preferred.
Work Days:Monday-Friday Days, weekends and holidays rotating based on department need
