We are a small YMCA looking for those with a passion to teach and work with children. As a non-profit we serve our community in a way that is unmatched AND we're incredibly flexible with scheduling.
We are looking for a positive individual to join our Childcare team in the Kids Club.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a positive attitude and follows directions.
- Relates to children, members and other staff in a positive manner.
- Ability to adjust from sitting to standing with ease.
- Must be able to receive and maintain CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood borne Pathogen, Child Abuse Training & Drug and Alcohol Abuse training certifications.

- All employees working 6 hours per week may participate in classes and programs for free with the exception of personal training. Direct family members of aforementioned employee may participate in programs and classes at a 20% discount.
- All YMCA employees working 6 hours a week will receive free Two Adult Family Membership ($74 value)
- Y employees may use Kids Club for free during their working hours when Kids Club is open.
- Employees working 6 hours are eligible to get a 20% discount for childcare during the hours the employee is working for the Y.
- Employees who resigns after 10 years of continuous service to the Superior Y will receive a 2-year adult membership. For every additional 5 years of service, they will receive one more year. After 25 years of service, a lifetime adult membership will be given
- All staff who work 20 hours a week will be eligible for one Wellness Hour per week to take care of your physical and mental health.
