Production Leader

Position Title: Production Leader

Location: Cedarburg, WI

Reports to: General Manager

Terms: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm, occasional overtime

Compensation: Salaried, $55,000 , commensurate with experience

About us: Superior Fence and Rail is a prominent, high growth fencing company serving the Milwaukee metro area specializing in the installation of a wide range of fencing products including vinyl, wood, aluminum, steel and chain-link fences. About the role: This role will be responsible for all operational aspects of the business including oversight for fence installation crews to ensure superior workmanship and the leadership of a small warehouse team to compile fencing job to meet installation timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation crews ensuring fence installations are performed in accordance with Superior Fence & Rail standards

• Communicate with customers regarding project status

• Manage small warehouse team including hiring, training and oversight

• Ensure all orders are pulled and processed to meet deadlines

• Manage inventory to ensure safeguarding and accuracy of reporting

• Receive truckload & LTL shipments & reconcile with purchase orders

• Maintain warehouse and work areas in an organized manner

• Oversee operation of CNC router to fabricate vinyl fencing

• Perform light carpentry or fence repairs as needed

• Train team members on forklift and lead certification process

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of management experience required

• Previous warehouse and construction experience preferred

• Team player with collaborative approach to solving problems

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Skilled at multitasking and prioritization

• Proficient with technology applications

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

• Ability to drive trucks with 20’ trailer

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Previous fencing experience a plus

• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
