Warehouse Associate

The warehouse associate is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform stocking and unloading of truck containers.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meets safety, production, quality, attendance, conduct, and teamwork expectations
• Operates forklift
• Safely operates all powered equipment in the distribution center including reach truck, order picker, pallet truck and any other machines needed to complete the job (fork lift operators)
• Ensures that all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift. Check for damage and report to supervisor if any damage is found (fork lift operators)
• Reads case label information and accurately completes inventory locator cards
• Monitors and maintains basic inventory integrity.
• Maintains an acceptable safety record and complies with all safety regulations of the distribution center
• Maintains a clean work area
• Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certified with at least 2 years of experience (will be tested)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work without supervision
• Flexibility to work in any area of the distribution center
• Strong verbal communication skills, English fluency
