Position Overview
Superior Industrial Products (SIP) is seeking a Corporate Rental Manager to lead and grow rental operations across all company locations. This role is the primary owner of the rental business and is responsible for fleet performance, utilization, customer engagement, and operational consistency companywide.
This position requires regular travel to SIP branches and customer sites and works closely with Sales, Service, Parts, and Executive Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage all rental operations across SIP locations
Travel to branch locations quarterly at minimum to review rental performance and execution
Manage rental fleet utilization, lifecycle, and ROI
Coordinate with Service teams to ensure rental units are safe, maintained, and customer-ready
Support Sales teams through customer visits, rental strategy, and opportunity development
Identify and pursue new rental opportunities within existing and new accounts
Establish and enforce standardized rental processes, pricing, and procedures
Serve as the escalation point for rental-related customer issues
Monitor rental revenue, margins, and performance by location
Provide clear reporting and recommendations to executive leadership
Train and support branch personnel on rental systems and best practices
Travel Requirements
Regular travel required to all SIP locations
Additional travel for customer meetings and fleet planning
Qualifications
5 years of experience in equipment rental, material handling, or industrial equipment
Strong understanding of rental fleet management and utilization
Experience supporting or managing multi-location operations
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities across locations
Experience with ERP systems and rental reporting
Preferred Experience
Forklift or material handling dealership experience
