Position Summary:
- Accurately process medical files and referrals according to specific instructions and deadlines.
- Manage bookings and cases assigned to be handled on our server and database.
- Coordinate exams based on claimant residence and arrange services such as interpreters or transportation.
- Verify examiner credentials, qualifications, and fees while checking for conflicts.
- Handle rescheduling, cancellations, and status updates for all involved parties.
- Communicate regularly with clients and Department Leads to manage all aspects of your position.
- Manage five phone lines, including documenting calls and taking messages.
- Perform various clerical tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
- Proficiency with computers, multi-line phones, and office equipment.
- Ability to handle confidential, time-sensitive paperwork in compliance with HIPAA.
- Participation in cross-training to support other departments during peak periods.
- Adherence to all CDC and OSHA health and safety guidelines.
- Exceptional data entry, typing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation is required.
