What Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. is Asking You to Do:
- Become an expert on Superior Rigging & Erecting’s service offering while understanding the inter-workings within each department.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Develop purchasing strategies that ensure constant availability of inventory within our Company’s budget.
- Monitor inventory levels to determine purchasing needs and schedule orders.
- Forecast and plan for anticipated purchases based on current/future projects.
- Research and purchase goods and services thru the established PO process.
- Hold employees to the established PO process.
- Maintain database of established suppliers and cultivate working relationships to ease process of acquiring products.
- Evaluate price, reliability, and availability of goods and services.
- Request, review and evaluate vendor quotes to provide the company with strategic savings.
- Oversee and maximize Vendor Rebate Program.
- Maintain SRE’s procurement rules and regulations.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to periodically review cost proposals and negotiate prices and contracts.
- Interact with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
- Approve and submit invoices to AP to process payment within agreed upon terms. Forwarding
- invoices to the appropriate party, if needed. Communicate with vendors if corrections need to be made.
- Coordinate payments with accounts payable in accordance with PO guidelines.
- Keep close relationship / communications with preferred vendors.
- Evaluate new products and work with operations and service team on validity of use at SRE.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
- Report to executive management team on preferred vendor agreements, KPI & metrics on inventory, rebates and costs.
- Provide information to external and internal auditors.
- Respond to questions during the monthly preparation of financial results.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
