South Shore Care Center is looking to hire a Cook to join the team!
Shift- Evening Part-Time.
The ideal candidate for this position has previous cooking experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
Skills:
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- ServeSafe Certification preferred
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
