What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bin Operator - Offsite position at Supreme Rice?
Supreme Rice is looking for Bin Operators for our Off-site locations. The Off-Site Bin Operator in the Rough Rice Department is required to operate machinery in order to properly sort rice into individual storage bins according to type, variety and grade. Requires some physical abilities (climbing, lifting heavy weights) and entering confined spaces. This position works 5-6 days per week and 8-12 hours per day.
YOU MUST HAVE A DEPENDABLE VEHICLE AND VALID DRIVERS LICENSE FOR THIS POSITION TO TRAVEL BETWEEN THE MILL STORAGE LOCATIONS. We pay mileage.
Duties include :
- Operate machinery to sort rice into storage bins according to type, variety and grade
- Operate conveyors, elevators and bin gates
- Perform minor repairs on conveyors and elevators as needed
- Keep area clean
