The Panel Installer is responsible for the proper installation of architectural and structural metal panels, including insulated metal panels (IMP), standing seam roofing, and other metal siding systems. This role ensures that all panel systems are installed per manufacturer specifications, project drawings, and Sure Steel quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Panel System Installation:
- Install wall and roof panels, trim, and flashing with precision and alignment per project specifications.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for fastening, cutting, and handling materials safely and efficiently.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all Sure Steel and OSHA safety policies.
- Wear required PPE and participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Reading Plans and Specifications:
- Interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and manufacturer details to guide installation.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or installation challenges.
- Material Handling and Layout:
- Safely load, unload, and stage materials on the job site.
- Measure, mark, and align panels to ensure correct placement.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with Foremen, Ironworkers, and other trades to ensure coordinated site activities.
- Communicate progress, delays, or safety concerns promptly to site leadership.
- Tool and Equipment Management:
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Operate lifts, hoists, and scaffolding as needed (training/certification required).
