Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This position supports technicians with tasks related to installing, maintaining, and repairing communication infrastructure. No telecom experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety‑minded, and able to follow directions in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist telecom technicians with job site setup and cleanup
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Dig trenches, place conduit, and support underground/overhead cable installation
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Handle and move reels, ladders, and materials as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Follow all safety protocols, including traffic and job‑site safety procedures
- Assist with Two-Way traffic control
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with hand tools or construction labor is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills in the telecom trade
