Who You Are:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual for the role of Warehouse Manager / Site Leader. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our warehouse facility in Murrieta CA. Key responsibilities include shipping and receiving, inventory management, auction support, facility management, sales support, and maintaining clear communication with corporate headquarters. This role requires a hands-on management, strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to build and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do:
Shipping and Receiving:
- Manage all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Oversee the inspection of incoming shipments and verify compliance with order specifications.
Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile physical counts with system records, and address any discrepancies.
- Procure necessary items to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and availability.
Auction Support:
- Collaborate with auction platforms and manage the process of listing products for auction, including cataloging, descriptions, and pricing.
- Oversee the preparation of auction items, ensuring they are properly staged and presented.
- Monitor auction results and provide regular reports to management.
Facility Management:
- Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the facility, including equipment, infrastructure, and safety protocols.
- Oversee facility layout and organization to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and repairs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support project management and startup activities while site is being launched.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide support throughout the sales process, equipment evaluations, processing orders, and managing customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Communication with Corporate Headquarters:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the warehouse site and corporate headquarters.
- Maintain regular communication with management, providing updates, reports, and relevant information.
- Support corporate on initiatives, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
What You Bring:
- Experience in warehouse management, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and facility management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills; operational excellence experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with team members, stakeholders, and corporate.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory management software (Salesforce experience desired).
- Knowledge of auction processes and experience customer service principles is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
