Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong ability to engage with guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality service, assisting customers with menu selections, and ensuring that all needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash registers or POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their experience is enjoyable from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service industry.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong culinary knowledge to effectively communicate menu items and ingredients.
• Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail when processing transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and assisting guests as needed.
• Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local health regulations.

Pay: $7.25 - $15.00 per hour
