ABOUT THE POSITION:
In this role, the successful candidate will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including attracting, motivating and retaining talent. Duties include a wide variety of HR responsibilities including onboarding, HR compliance, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, employee training and development, use of HRIS systems, recordkeeping compliance, and additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures company compliance, maintaining compliance with Federal and State Legislation, prepares reports related to EEO compliance or other HR functions.
- Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
- Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of organization’s compensation structure
- Communicate benefits to employees, answer questions and coordinates annual open enrollment process.
- Guide and assist supervisory personnel on appropriate performance management processes, including disciplinary action and terminations.
- Coordinates and conducts exit interviews.
- Creation of staff development for facility and coordination and facilitation of employee orientation content and process in coordination with clinical staff.
- Effectively utilize the HRIS systems
- Maintaining proper records for all employee files, and employment related matters including documentation for performance, leaves, and benefits.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business administration required. MS in human resources management or business administration from an accredited college preferred.
- 5 to 7 years experience in HR required.
- Labor Relations experience preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft suite; HRIS systems, Payroll systems) and recordkeeping skills
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organization planning, employee relations and training required.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
