SALARY: $21.20 -$25.20 per hour based on experience

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM **additional time if necessary**

The Supervisor will oversee our contracts/sites, and employees in the following areas:

• Hillsboro
• Beaverton
• Tigard
• West Linn - Periodically
• Salem - Periodically

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide training, guidance and coaching to assigned janitorial staff. .

2. Ensure adequate coverage is in place for assigned customers/buildings

3. Quality Check assigned buildings to ensure that they are meeting our standards and customer needs. Check in with your Lead Janitorial workers to ensure that they are also providing a secondary quality check monthly.

4. Models effective leadership skills to supervisors and lead workers and assists them in establishing good practices with regard to daily work direction.

5. Properly address, document and report all employee related issues.

6. Create or alter employee schedules ensuring contractual needs can be met or provide coverage if necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

**MUST be ready to exude patience, empathy, and understanding; steering your staff toward successful outcomes**

1. Must be able to pass all criminal background checks allowing entry into every building serviced.

2. Excellent supervisory and communication skills (verbal and written).

3. Ability to prioritize tasks ensuring quality and timely work.

4. Maintain a strong working knowledge of available company resources, policies and procedures. Ability to follow instructions and make decisions independently that are consistent with existing policies, practices, and procedures.

5. Able to implement verbal or written performance coaching, reviews, training, accommodations ,or achievements.

6. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Must also have an acceptable driving record and be able to qualify for TVW’s vehicle insurance policy. Must also be responsible for assigned company vehicle use; safety, maintenance and cleanliness.

7. Must be prepared to visit their assigned locations weekly; providing support for their staff, delivering necessary tools and ensuring that customer needs are being met.

8. Ability to use computer hardware and software [Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.]. Includes laptops, Mobile phone use and desktop computing.

9. Physical ability to safely bend, twist, lift, climbs stairs, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead. Must be able to push/pull up to 50 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.

10. Physical ability to operate various types of janitorial equipment. Ability to train and supervise others to safely and effectively use equipment.

11. Maintains professional boundaries with staff, leadership and customers.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in general janitorial, custodian or maintenance related services.
• Minimum 1 years’ supervisory or leadership experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must drive and have a valid driver’s license.
• Canidates with experience as a custodian, sanitation or health cleaner are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
