Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot software issues and assist with software installations.
- Manage IT infrastructure by monitoring system performance and resolving issues as they arise.
- Utilize Remedy and Jira for tracking incidents and managing service requests.
- Offer desktop support for hardware-related problems, including repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of user interactions and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient resolution of technical problems.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
Skills
- Proficient in technical support and software troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to users.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components and best practices.
- Experience using Remedy or similar ticketing systems for incident management.
- Knowledge of computer management practices and desktop support techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
