What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodian position at Swampscott Public Schools?
This position is for a 1 day per week position at the Johnson School in the Nahant Public Schools.

Clean the route assigned by the Senior Custodian or School Administrator, and perform any other duties deemed necessary.
Perform major cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, wet-mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash.
Clean restrooms including floors and all fixtures, ensuring restrooms are clean and disinfected.
Wash windows, doors and sills.
Ensure that all doors and windows are appropriately locked and that building is secure.
Remove snow and ice outside of building as needed.
The successful candidate must be able to walk up and down stairs, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
Hours are 6am-2pm when substituting on the daytime shift, 2pm-10pm on the evening shift.
