What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salon / Spa Attendant position at Swan Cove Salon?
Your tasks are many and varied and directly support the efficiency and success of Swan Cove Day Spa & Salon.
· Help make each client experience a pleasant one.
· Help keep each therapist, esthetician, nail technician and hair stylist’s work area clean, tidy and maintained with all the equipment/supplies necessary to keep a steady workflow.
· Salon attendants will be trained in giving all clients a scalp massage with their shampoos and will give the stylists a “quick broom” to keep the salon area neat and tidy.
Maintain cleanliness of Salon on a day-to-day basis (sweep floors, clean combs, brushes, color bowls, shampoo room towels, etc.)
· Spa attendants will change out all treatment rooms between clients with fresh linens.
Maintain the cleanliness of the Day Spa ladies locker/shower area on a day-to-day basis (keep vanity, sink, shower, change area, and toilet sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies, i.e. terry towels, spa robes, spa slipper)
· All attendants will do laundry as needed for both the Day Spa & Salon.
· All attendants will maintain the Dispensary/Back Room for cleanliness.
· All attendants will maintain the “Things To Order” list. If you used the last of something or notice the level of any cleaning product or utility supplies getting low, mark it on the “Things To Order” list.
· All attendants will maintain the entire facility on an “as needed” basis, regardless of what area of the Day Spa/Salon. To include, but not limited to all wastebaskets, tissues (facial or toilet), towels (paper or terry), etc.
Responsibilities: We depend on you to anticipate the needs of both our clients and staff. You are responsible to perform many tasks and if you feel you need assistance to maintain your efficiency, please ask for help from the General Manager or other staff members that might be available.
Task Assessment:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 8-hour periods, bend and reach at a 90-degree angle.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
