What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist position at Swedish Health Services?
MRI Technologists play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team, conducting and performing MRI examinations with independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts and performs MRI examinations, utilizing technical expertise and critical thinking to ensure accurate results.
- Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as described or required.
- Works as a CT Tech when needed, and is paid their primary "MRI" rate when asked to perform CT scans.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification within 1 year of hire
- At least 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with at least 1 year of experience in an MRI department preferred
