Sweep is hiring a Bid Writer, to play a pivotal role in the writing, preparation, and coordination of our proposals to secure new business opportunities in the US.

You'll be responsible for building compelling proposals, maintaining our centralized resources, and upholding our global RFP standards. Reporting into the Bid Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with various internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality proposals that align with the necessary requirements and objectives of the prospect or customer. This position requires exceptional writing and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

This position requires exceptional writing and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
To be more specific, this includes:
- Bid Development and Writing 🔍
- Write persuasive and compelling content that highlights Sweep’s value proposition.
- Ensure proposals comply with specifications, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
- Edit and proofread proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
- Bid Project Management 🔬
- Organize and lead bid-related meetings to ensure all contributors are aligned on timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather critical information for bids.
- Integrate input from multiple sources into a cohesive and professional proposal.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring all bids are completed on time
- Organization of Sales Materials 🛠️
- Serve as our in-house French expert for bid content and resources.
- Develop and maintain French translations of our English database and other bid resources.
- Support with the building of new materials for product developments or new customer requirements.
- Market Research and Continuous Improvement ⚙️
- Help track product feedback and trends from prospect and customer requests.

Qualifications 🏆
- 1-2 years experience in a similar or transferable role
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Effective collaboration and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure managing multiple deadlines
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with Loopio or other RFP tools is a plus
- Familiarity with RFPs and buying processes is a plus
- Experience in B2B software-as-a-service is a plus
- Work or educational background in sustainability is a plus
- A hands-on problem solver, self-motivated with a glass half-full attitude
- Able to work autonomously but also within a team environment
- You’re an empathetic team player that is great at building lasting relationships
- Attuned to remote collaboration, using digital tools and meticulously documenting work
- You enjoy a fast-paced and growing work environment
