Fleet Mechanic - Full Time

Restrictions Apply.  Job Location: 1747 Stanley Ave Dayton, Ohio 45405  Job Schedule: Full Time. Day Shift. Monday through Friday, 8am - 430pm. Schedule Subject to Change, Based on Business Needs. Mechanic Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team to assemble, maintain, and repair machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience with a wide range of machines and tools, following strict safety protocols.   Responsibilities: Assemble and build machines or mechanical components according to specifications Inspect and troubleshoot machines, engines, and transmissions to identify and diagnose issues Run diagnostic tests and maintain detailed logs of all work performed Conduct repairs with an emphasis on maximizing functionality and reliability Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components and replenish necessary fluids Advise on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures to machine users Undertake additional duties as required, such as repairs of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles, etc. Experience with heavy equipment is a plus   Requirements & Skills Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanic Valid Driver’s license required.   DOT Physical Required but paid for by Company expense.
