FT AND PT Dispensary Agent/Receptionist Cross-Trained

Busy local medical cannabis dispensary is looking for individuals to join our exceptional SweetBuds team here in Frederick, MD. This position is expected to cross-train both reception and dispensary agent.

Candidates MUST have medical product and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Must be 21 or older to legally work in a dispensary
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Have a team player mindset
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Ability to work well with different types of people, including customers and staff
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the dispensary is well maintained
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
• Maintain product knowledge
• Exceptional cash handling skills
• Attention to detail
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
• Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
• Must be able to work weekends, mandatory.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Technical abilities
• Basic computer and inventory tracking experience preferred
• Knowledgeable about Medical Cannabis required

Other:

• Must be 21 years of age or over as required by the MMCC
• Available to work all shifts: including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess the ability to successfully obtain an Agent Registration Card.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Previous dispensary experience & a passion for the industry is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
