Are you someone who loves all aspects of people- from hiring to developing employees into their best future selves?
We are a local transportation company based in Richmond, who has been around for 15 years, each year expanding and growing a little more.
We are looking to add someone to our leadership team who will oversee our recruiting department as well as help recruit for additional roles here and there. This role would also develop employees to grow into leadership roles from within our company. Currently we have several employees who have started as line level associates and are now a part of our leadership team!
We are also looking for someone who has a background in Human Resources to bring more structure to our contagiously amazing culture! We currently do have a company we work with to stay abreast of changing state laws and regulations, we would like this role to learn and own this aspect of the business, with assistance from the owners.

from sourcing and screening
candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating onboarding
. Cultivating a culture
of employee development and strategic growth and staying current on state laws and
requirements.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with managers on staffing needs, posting jobs,
utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and ensuring a positive candidate experience
to attract top talent.
Job Responsibilities
● Oversee current recruiting team as well as add support for other company
recruiting needs.
● Sourcing: Identify potential candidates via job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed),
social media, and networking.
● Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate
qualifications.
● Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring
managers.
● Strategy: Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and
develop recruitment strategies.
● Process Management: Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS), process hiring
paperwork, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
● Candidate Experience: Act as the primary contact, providing timely updates and
feedback to applicants.
● Onboarding: Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding initiatives.
● Staying on top of changing state laws
● Alignment with organizational goals and efforts alongside the values and goals
of the owner

Required Skills and Qualifications
● Experience: Previous work experience as an HR Recruiter, Talent Acquisition
Specialist, or similar role.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building
relationships.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in ATS software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft
Office.
● Knowledge: Understanding of sourcing techniques, employment laws, and
behavioral interviewing.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a
related field required
