Premier Midwest Private Club looking for a full or part time Dishwasher

Sycamore Hills Golf Club is looking for a Dishwasher to help elevate our culinary program. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for and learn from one of the most highly regarded Chefs in the club & resort business, while working at what many consider the premier private golf club in the mid-west. Requirements:

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and storage racks, etc.
• Communicates with other employees to determine which dishes, pots, pans, etc. need to be cleaned first.
• Ensures that dishes, glassware, and silverware are clean.
• Sorts clean silverware, glassware and dishes.
• Ensures that clean supplies are available at all times.
• Cleans and sanitizes work station surfaces, utensils, floors, floor mats, dumpsters, and equipment.
• Transports boxes and trash bags from kitchen, dish area, etc., to dumpsters.
• Distributes trash cans to kitchen, dish area, etc.

Minimum Requirement:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow direction from others.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level.
• Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet.
• Able to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift.
• Able to tolerate exposure to cold and hot temperatures (below 40° F and above 100° F) throughout the shift.
• Able to hear, understand, and respond to employees’ and guests’ requests in a loud environment.
• Able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals several times throughout shift.

Starting Wage - $13-$15 hour - depending on experience.

Full time benefits include; vacation pay, holiday pay, dental, medical, vision insurance, 401k, and sick pay. (50% employer/ 50% employee health/dental/vision contribution)

Potential candidates must pass a background check (no felonies) and must pass a standard drug panel test, with the exception for marijuana – which will not be used as a determining factor for employment.

From January 1st to March 15th, the Club is only open four and a half days out of the week. Throughout the golf season, the Club is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays), with the exception of ten Monday outings over the course of the summer.

This is a PM position, a standard shift is 3PM - 10PM

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
