Responsibilities:
· Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
· Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects.
· Conduct data analysis to support business decisions.
· Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, etc.)
· Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
· Collaborate with application team to design and implement database schemas and structures.
· Ensure data integrity and security through proper design and implementation of database constraints and permissions.
· Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
· Develop Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.
· Required to come into our NYC office 3 days a week
Qualifications/Skills:
· A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related technical field.
· At least 7 years of proven experience as an SQL Developer and Business Analysis.
· Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
· Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, SSRS, Power BI).
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial data analysis.
· Experience in Infor / Lawson financials is a plus
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational, multitasking and multi-focus skills.
