About the role The Accounts Payable Specialist position will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance of the accounts payable email inbox, including submitting vendor bills for processing and responding to payment inquiries in a timely manner. This individual will act as a liaison between vendors and members of the accounts payable team to help identify and resolve issues with vendor accounts. In addition, the position is expected to review and approve expense reports in accordance with the travel policy. The position will be required to easily adapt to an agile, constantly changing work environment in the performance of assigned tasks and special projects in a rapidly growing technology company. What You’ll Do Maintain accounts payable email inbox Review, scan and submit mailed vendor invoices Assist with accounts payable entry as needed Record wire payments in the general ledger Review and approve expense reports Facilitate the completion of internal and external reporting requirements Additional duties as assigned What You’ll Need One year of experience in the general accounting function is preferred Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; Bachelor’s degree preferred , or equivalent experience Familiar with the use of integrated ERP software; NetSuite experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Excellent communication and attention to detail Strong organizational skills and time management skills About Symbotic Symbotic LLC is a robotics and automation-based product movement technology platform provider focused on transforming the consumer goods supply chain.
