Description:Title: HousekeepingLocation: Symphony Care NetworkStatus: Full-TimeJob Summary:Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all facility areas and assisting in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. This position may also assist in doing the LaundryEssential Functions:HousekeepingPerform daily cleaning functions as assignedClean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, etc in rooms, common areas daily as instructedClean wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixturesClean windows/mirrors in rooms, common areas, bathrooms and entrances/exitsClean floors to include sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, etc.Clean walls as neededUse proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions and ensure that appropriate supplies are maintainedDiscard waste/trash into proper containers, including any infectious waste into appropriate containersClean and sanitize vacant rooms in preparation for future residentsCollect resident clothing and linens, sort and launder, iron if needed, returning to resident rooms when completeMend or repair clothing if possibleReport any repairs needed to supervisorAll other duties as assignedQualifications/Experience:HousekeepingHigh School Diploma or GEDLong-term care or hospitality industry experience preferredPassion for helping othersExcellent customer service skillsMulti-tasking skillsPhysical Requirements for Housekeeping include ability to Lift up to 35 pounds, push and pull objects up to 35 pounds, ability to move consistently throughout the workday.Requirements:
