Your key tasks:
- Should have experience implementing data pipelines
- Hands-on development experience in Spark and Scala
- Hands-on experience on AWS services
- Hands-on experience on ElasticSearch
- Should have good SQL knowledge
- Should have knowledge on REST api
- Troubleshoot technology problems in the line of collection and delivery
- Lead individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables using AGILE methodologies
- Lead the team of developers with effective planning, executions and team management.
- Work with product management and business users to define the roadmap for the product
- Be a leader with vision and a partner in brainstorming solutions for team productivity, efficiency, training and motivating developers
- Create tools and systems that will make our team more scalable
- Monitor and track project performance against set goals and objectives
- Work and communicate effectively with other departments, IT professionals, and other colleagues
- Keep up-to-date on edge technology
- Deliver high efficiency, high availability, fault tolerant software systems
- Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks
Must have Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Scala, Hive
- Excellent knowledge of Apache Spark and other libraries used in conjunction and associated capabilities of the platform.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS services - EMR, Lambda, SNS, Code pipeline, RDS, Athena, EC2, S3
- Excellent knowledge of Database SQL, performance tuning, data modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of ElasticSearch
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to catalog, locate and identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets
- Good understanding of UNIX/LINUX environments.
- Experience leading the team of developers
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of Java REST api
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Jasper server reporting BI tool
- Knowledge of behavioural data tracking
- Knowledge of DataBricks
