Delivery Operations Manager


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Delivery Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of packages to customers. You will collaborate with various teams to improve processes, manage logistics, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.


**Key Responsibilities:**


**Operational Excellence:** Manage and optimize the day-to-day delivery operations, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and customer service teams.


**Process Improvement:** Identify inefficiencies in delivery processes and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.


**Team Leadership:** Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of delivery associates, drivers, and support staff. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and morale within the team.


**Logistics Management:** Coordinate logistics, including route planning, vehicle maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure timely deliveries while minimizing transportation costs.


**Quality Assurance:** Monitor and maintain high standards of delivery quality and service. Implement quality control measures and address customer feedback promptly to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.


**Data Analysis:** Analyze delivery performance data and generate reports to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.


**Compliance:** Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to delivery operations. Implement and enforce best practices to maintain a safe working environment.


**Vendor Management:** Collaborate with third-party vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.


**Qualifications:**


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field

- Proven experience in delivery operations management, preferably in the e-commerce or logistics industry.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for process improvement opportunities.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

- Familiarity with logistics software and systems.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proven ability in managing 50 - 70 direct reports.
