ABOUT THE JOB
The primary role of the Physical Therapist aide is to work under the direction of a physical therapist who will instruct you on all aspects of treatment.
SKILLS
- Ability to work under the direction of a physical therapist who will instruct you on all aspects of treatment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Physically capable to assist in exercises, sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 30 pounds, bend/stoop/reach above the head, climb stairs and work in elevators.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, fellow staff, and patients' families.
- Must be able to pass a background check before being offered employment with SYNAPSE Complete Balance and Movement Th.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
