Title: Sales Specialist

About the Role:
This role focuses on inside business processing functions and will play a crucial part in driving our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in the sales process, including lead generation, market analysis, campaign execution, and closing sales deals.
- Identify target clients and ideal customers from research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, synthetic biology companies, IVD companies, and biotech startups.
- Reach out to these potential new clients by advertising our services via e-mails or phone calls, showcasing our expertise and the benefits of our DNA technology.
- Analyze customer activity, understand their characteristics, needs, and challenges, and work to enhance customer satisfaction.
- This is more a marketing job. Schedule and secure meetings for the Business Development team with potential clients.
- Engage in continuous learning to understand the intricacies of our offerings and how they meet client needs.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through excellent communication and customer service.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer information, sales activities, and lead statuses.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, leads, and conversion rates to the senior management team.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Technical expertise with strong customer-facing skills, problem-solving abilities, product knowledge, and ideally, a background in engineering.
- Proficiency in market research, relationship building, strategic planning, negotiation, and deep technical knowledge of our products or services.
- Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field.
- Prior experience in inside sales, especially in the DNA and CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry, is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- An aggressive, solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- A team-oriented mindset with the desire and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
