Position Overview:
The CCTV Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of VACUTEK’s CCTV inspection services while also managing and working on projects involving stormwater and sewer cleaning with jetter trucks. This position requires the ability to manage multiple teams, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high standards of safety and service. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and be responsible for driving efficiency and performance across the CCTV and jetter truck services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all CCTV operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and managing performance of CCTV inspection teams.
- Manage stormwater and sewer cleaning projects using jetter trucks, ensuring that all services are performed efficiently and meet client expectations.
- Ensure all CCTV inspections and jetter truck operations adhere to industry standards, including PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program).
- Lead and train CCTV operators and jetter truck teams, ensuring technical proficiency, safety, and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct pre-job assessments and collaborate with project teams to ensure effective planning and execution of both CCTV and jetter truck services.
- Analyze inspection data and cleaning reports, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot CCTV inspection and jetter truck equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and operational readiness.
- Implement and oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality control, safety, and efficiency across CCTV inspections and jetter truck operations.
- Manage inventory of CCTV and jetter truck equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as necessary.
- Promote and enforce safety regulations, ensuring all team members comply with confined space entry and hazardous material handling protocols.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and other departments to support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance of the CCTV and jetter truck operations, including budgeting, job costing, and resource allocation.
- Provide leadership in developing a high-performing team culture focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing CCTV pipeline inspection and stormwater/sewer cleaning operations using jetter trucks in a utility, infrastructure, or municipal setting.
- Strong knowledge of PACP standards, pipeline systems, jetting operations, and NASSCO guidelines.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience with a focus on performance, safety, and efficiency.
- Technical proficiency in CCTV inspection systems and jetter truck operations, with the ability to generate detailed reports and analyze data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; confined space certification and NASSCO certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred but relevant work experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and enter confined spaces as required.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
