Our Challenge:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Leader for our Managed Services division. The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of relevant experience in a Delivery Leadership role, with a proven track record of managing offshore teams and delivering projects within stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position requires a strong software development background, hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, and expertise in the Insurance or Retirement domain.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New Jersey is $120k-$130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and oversee Managed Services engagements, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
- Project Delivery:
- Drive successful project delivery for Managed Services engagements, adhering to established SLAs and quality standards.
- Implement and optimize processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure seamless delivery.
- Offshore Coordination:
- Collaborate with offshore teams to facilitate project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee the integration of onsite and offshore teams, promoting effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Technical Expertise:
- Leverage a strong software development background to guide technical discussions, architecture decisions, and problem-solving efforts.
- Utilize Jira for project tracking and reporting, and ServiceNow for incident and service request management.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of the Insurance or Retirement domain to inform project decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Requirements:
You are:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Delivery Leadership role, preferably in Managed Services.
- Direct experience working with offshore teams, with a background of working offshore during part of your career.
- Proven track record of managing Managed Services engagements with stringent SLAs.
- Strong software development background, having worked as a developer in the initial years of your career.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools, specifically Jira and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of the Insurance or Retirement domain is essential.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
