CAD TechnicianOur client is looking for a CAD Technician in the Raleigh, Charlotte or Wilmington area to work with other drafters or designers to perform structural engineering and building design services for production home builders, custom home builders, and light commercial construction. Responsibilities include: - Reading design drawings, maps, and sketches- Sketching concepts for graphic representation - Develop detailed 2D and 3D models, plans, and layouts using CAD software- Work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to understand project requirements- Convert sketches, blueprints, and verbal instructions into accurate digital designs- Check drawings for errors, ensure quality standards, and update existing designs- Coordinate the storage, retrieval, and version control of drawingsRequirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred- 3 years of experience as a cad tech for residential projects - Strong AutoCAD skills - Ability to work on client sites as needed#ZRRN
