Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine - a locally owned, award-winning Physical Therapy practice that has been in business for 12 years in our community is launching a new studio next door - Coastal Chill Cryo & Wellness.

We are seeking individuals who have certification and experience as Stretch Coaches to provide assisted stretch services for wellness clients.

For those not certified and interested in the position, certification would be required prior to start date. Coastal Chill may be able to provide a monthly retention/certification reimbursement stipend to help support you with the certification cost based on length of employment.

This may be a perfect position for someone with a background in kinesiology, personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy aide/tech, sports medicine, yoga or Pilates.

Additional opportunities exist to be trained up to also provide direct client care services including cold laser therapy, localized cryotherapy for pain relief and body contouring/fat loss and assist as a wellness attendant at Coastal Chill.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review intake, medical history, and treatment goal forms with clients
• Complete basic movement screens per company protocol
• Deliver one-on-one 25’ or 50’ assisted stretch sessions following company protocol with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness, and an optimal client experience
• Highlight and explain options for clients to pursue additional in-house wellness services
• Maintain knowledge of in-house retail products and guide clients on products available to support their goals
• Develop and grow a dedicated client list who commit to regular, ongoing stretch and wellness services thru purchase of memberships
• Assist with client acquisition and retention
• Be a brand ambassador for Coastal Chill Cryo & Wellness in the studio and community
• Participate in social media marketing with demos of stretch services, capturing clients testimonials and successes, sharing more about Coastal Chill services and building brand awareness and community connections
• Perform basic administrative functions such as answering phone calls, providing tours to potential clients, taking payments, scheduling future appointments, and client reminder and follow up calls
• Assist with keeping workspace and studio clean and organized
• Assist with basic wellness studio upkeep (laundry, cleaning tasks, routine equipment inspection and upkeep)
• Opening and closing duties as required
• Maintain updated Stretch Coach and CPR certification

Job Type: Part time. Flexible

Pay rate: $15-20/hour depending on certification, experience in this industry and hours of availability. Bonus pay may be available for those who can work higher demand hours – later afternoons/early evenings and weekends.

Expected hours: 8-25 hours/week. Ability to work rotating weekend hours.
