Job Description : Role : EDI Analyst
Duration : 6 months contract to hire
Location : Memphis, TN - Remote
Contract to hire (C2H)
Note : The client operates in the manufacturing industry and requires a candidate with previous experience in this domain.
The Job You Will Perform : Manage the implementation process for more complex EDI interfaces across multiple Order to Cash systems. Own new EDI requests from initiation to completion, working directly with the customer's IT team and business partners to understand the customer requirements and the business process.
The Skills You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related discipline or related experience
- 6-8 years' relevant work experience
- EDI and / or cXML mapping experience with transactions 850, 855, 860, 856, and 810
- Proven success in delivering IT-enabled projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Manages project completion by coordinating with the customer and business on the timeline & tasks Completes functional process analysis, design, and testing of new and existing business processesCreates mapping specifications and test scenariosFacilitates connectivity setup, data mapping, data clean-up, etc. with other IT & business teamsPerforms testing and troubleshooting by working closely with the customerCreates Standard Operating Procedure documentationProvides EDI training to plants & other business partnersEnables customer profiles in order management systems to use EDIAct as a liaison with the business / process owner ITSS and other IT groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to the business.Coordinate any new business requirements or projects for EDI.Provide support for existing EDI integrations, which includes resolving of issues and changes.Ensure IPG's & customers' needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project / planning meetings and communicating regularly with the team and appropriate managers.Facilitate and drive meetings and conference calls with different stakeholders including external customers, Sales, Customer Service, Centralized Invoicing, Credit, and other IT teams.Interact with internal and external customers to create relationships that deliver valueCoordinates medium to large sized IT projects and enhancements.Participates in process improvement efforts of the functional area.May be responsible for training users on new information technology solutions.Ability to
